An Aviation Tradition...

Our history in aviation began with Lyddon Flying Service, originally founded in La Junta, Colorado by Bill Lyddon Sr., in 1965.

 

 

 

Flight Training was the main objective, but an air charter business also developed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then in 1975, Bill, along with his sons Steve and Bill Jr., purchased the FBO in Lamar, Colorado and emphasis was changed to primarily charter, and business began to grow.

 

 

In October of 1990, Steve and Bill Jr. purchased the FBO in Liberal, Kansas.

The Liberal operation became Lyddon Aero Center, a full-service FBO with Aircraft Charter, Aircraft Sales, Fuel, Maintenance, and Flight Instruction.
